Sustainable Design Process to achieve Sustainable Logistics : Opportunities offered by Business Analytics

Logistics is a rapidly expanding industry, and mobility critical to our way of life. At the same time, there are several environmental, societal, economic implications associated with logistics transportation, including pollution, noise, use urban space for transportation infrastructure. Business analytics solutions may help firms operations achieve these targets, while keeping costs down positively impacting society. However, many corporations haven’t venture into business sustainability. The main reasons need customize each problem as well lack viable, coherent process model closing loop between sustainability objectives analytical questions, metrics, tools. This paper introduces functional framework analytics, which can be implemented in any corporation, making planning, controlling, measuring sustainable development easier. resulting blueprint, called “Sustainability Design Process”, suitable effectively implement using approaches such that balance economic, societal factors.
